Claire and David Hosie, embarked on their journey of managing the farm's day-to-day operations four years ago. Their shared commitment to the farm's success is evident in their respective roles and backgrounds. Davy, has worked on the farm all of his life, and whilst he has pursued a career as a Health and Safety professional his passion has always been to see Kinkell Farm diversify and improve its purpose within the community. Davy takes charge of all the growing aspects on the farm amongst a vast range of other farm-related activities and projects. Claire, having previously dedicated 15 years of her career as a Senior Business Assistant in mental health services for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, now directs her energy toward managing the farm's day to day business. This includes handling all customer orders and maintaining a strong online presence through social media, among a range of other farm activities and responsibilities. Their personal life reflects a beautiful partnership, having been together for 16 years. Their two children, Arran, aged 14, and Ava, aged 10, fill their home with joy. Claire and Davy love to watch their Son Arran play football with his Team and watching their Daughter Ava competing in Dance competitions with her crew. The family is completed by their lively Cockapoo, Jasper, and Ava's cherished pony, Poppy. Claire and Davy share a commitment to healthy and nutritious food, which is why they grow a range of vegetables and Microgreens at the farm, making them available to the local community and beyond.
